The question will eventually be answered but for now, there is no second-string quarterback behind the six-time Pro Bowl player.
The Seahawks released a potential No. 2 in Paxton Lynch on Friday with the thought that another veteran, Geno Smith, would fill the role. But in a number of cuts to the team's more seasoned players the following day, Smith was released as well.
With Geno Smith cut, Seahawks don't have a backup quarterback at the moment.

It shouldn't worry Seahawks' fans.
Wilson has yet to miss a game in his seven-year career, or even an in-season practice but the dual-threat quarterback, who plays behind a notoriously unreliable offensive line, still needs some help.
Reports indicate another move is coming.
