NFL EZ fantasy provides fans an opportunity to compete against friends and fans throughout Canada during the season, and every week Sporting News Canada will give recommendations of who to play in your lineup. Here are this week's suggestions. Sign up to play here.
Quarterback
Tom Brady, Patriots at Dolphins. Brady has a lot to make up for after being held out of the end zone last week. Even without Gronk, he'll put up big numbers against a Dolphins defense he roasted for four TDs just two weeks ago.
Matthew Stafford, Lions at Buccaneers. Stafford's injured hand is a concern, but as long as he's out there, he should have a big day against the Bucs. Detroit's running game is stuck in neutral with or without Ameer Abdullah, and the Bucs allow the second-most passing yards per game.

Derek Carr, Raiders at Chiefs. Carr will be getting at least one of his starting WRs back in Michael Crabtree this week, and last time he played the Chiefs, he totaled 417 yards and three TDs.
Running back
LeSean McCoy, Bills vs. Colts. The last time Tyrod Taylor didn't start, McCoy went for 126 total yards and two TDs. In a similar matchup against a Colts defense allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to RBs, he can be counted on to be Buffalo's entire offense.
Le'Veon Bell, Steelers vs. Ravens. Bell pretty much always gets a top-three projection at this point. He's been on a roll lately, and this week he gets a Ravens defense he torched for 186 total yards and two TDs in Week 4.
Alfred Morris, Cowboys at Giants. Morris is coming off a monster game in which he dominated carries, and he could easily do it again against a Giants defense that has allowed three two-TD games to RBs in its past five contests.
Wide Receiver
Antonio Brown, Steelers vs. Ravens. It doesn't seem like it's possible to slow down Brown right now -- even a sore toe couldn't keep him from getting 100 yards and a TD last Monday -- and a Jimmy Smith-less Ravens defense won't be up to the task either.
Brandin Cooks, Patriots at Dolphins. No Gronk just means more targets for Cooks, who ran past the Dolphins for 83 yards and a score two weeks ago.
Marvin Jones Jr., Lions at Buccaneers. Jones has posted either 90 yards or a TD in six of his past seven games. It will be seven of eight after he gets done with Tampa's porous secondary.
Pass Offense
Patriots at Dolphins. The Patriots can run on the Dolphins, but they can just as easily pass, too. No Gronkowski takes away some of the Pats firepower, but they're still loaded with big-play receivers and capable receiving backs to pick up the slack and remain the NFL's top passing team.
Lions at Buccaneers. Detroit has the No. 6 pass offense and the Bucs have the No. 31 pass defense. Even a banged-up Matthew Stafford can get the ball to his main weapons and let them make plays, either after the catch (Golden Tate) or while the ball is in the air (Marvin Jones).
Chargers vs. Redskins. Washington was hemorrhaging passing yards until facing the Giants and Cowboys in recent weeks. The Chargers won't stay on the ground like those teams, as shown by their No. 2 ranking in pass offense.
Run Offense
Saints at Falcons. The New Orleans ground-and-pound attack is tough for any team to stop, and Atlanta, which allows 4.3 yards per carry and just over 113 rushing yards per game, will be no exception.
Eagles at Rams. Philadelphia might not have a true "No. 1 RB", but it has three good backs and a quarterback who can run. The Rams give up 4.7 yards per carry while the Eagles average 4.6, so expect plenty of ground movement in this one.
Falcons vs. Saints. The two-back theme continues with Atlanta's dynamic duo of Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. As much as the Saints defense has improved, it still has problems stopping the run (4.6 yard per carry), and Atlanta won't be afraid to keep it on the ground.
Defense
Patriots at Dolphins. Just two weeks ago the Patriots posted seven sacks and three takeaways against the Dolphins. Now with Jay Cutler back at QB... the results will likely be similar.
Packers at Browns. The Packers aren't particularly good on defense, but they can get sacks. Moreoever, anyone can do well against the Browns, who are allowing 3.3 sacks and 2.5 takeaways per game.
Cowboys at Giants. The Giants will be getting booed in their home stadium against a Cowboys defense that should get LB Sean Lee back. Dallas is coming off its best defensive showing of the season and should carry that into this favorable matchup.
Special Teams/Kicker
Rams vs. Eagles. It's tough to bet against Greg Zuerlein getting – and making – several field-goal chances.
49ers at Texans. The Texans give up a lot of fantasy points to kickers, and the 49ers are suddenly a field-goal kicking team with Jimmy Garoppolo under center. Take advantage of this indoor December game.
Cardinals vs. Titans. The Titans allow the second-most fantasy points to kickers, and Phil Dawson has had six field-goal attempts in his past two games. And, once again, we like indoor games in December.
How to Play
Each week, players will set their lineup across seven positions and can make adjustments up until kickoff. The player who finishes each week with the most fantasy points in their favorite NFL team’s league wins a Wilson mini football and a New Era hat.
