NFL EZ fantasy provides fans an opportunity to compete against friends and fans throughout Canada during the season, and every week Sporting News Canada will give recommendations of who to play in your lineup. Here are this week's suggestions. Sign up to play here.
Quarterback
Tom Brady, Patriots @ Bills. Does it ever get boring putting Brady in the top spot? Not at all. History is especially on his side this week, as he has more career passing yards and touchdowns against Buffalo than against any other team.
Philip Rivers, Chargers vs. Browns. Rivers and the Chargers have been hot lately, while the Browns...have been the Browns. L.A. has the two things that give the Browns pass defense fits – a stud No. 1 receiver (Keenan Allen) and a good tight end (Hunter Henry).

Russell Wilson, Seahawks vs. Eagles. The Seahawks can't run, especially against the Eagles. It will be up to Wilson to do it all – with his arms and legs – and he won't go down without a fight. Even if Seattle loses, expect big stats from Wilson..
Running Back
Leonard Fournette, Jaguars vs. Colts. Fournette has disappointed lately, but he's still averaging over 21 touches per game in his past three contests. Expect him to be running hard well into the fourth quarter as the Jags try to put this game on ice.
Jordan Howard, Bears vs. 49ers. Howard struggled last week, but it was the worst possible situation. This is the best possible situation, facing a 49ers defense allowing the most fantasy points to RBs.
Le'Veon Bell, Steelers at Bengals. It seems silly not to project Bell as a top-three back. You could say the same about Todd Gurley, but his matchup is a little tougher this week. While Gurley had a big game against Arizona earlier this year, Bell's was even bigger against Cincinnati, as he totaled 192 yards.
Wide Receiver
Keenan Allen, Chargers vs. Browns. Allen has caught 23 of 27 targets for 331 yards and three TDs the past two weeks. And now he gets the Browns. There's no reason for the fun to stop.
Antonio Brown, Steelers at Bengals. Brown has been just as good as Allen over the past two weeks, catching 20 of 25 passes for 313 yards and five TDs. It's a tough matchup, but Brown managed 65 yards and a score when these teams met in Week 7.
Mike Evans, Buccaneers at Packers. Evans is still getting targets (double digits in four of his past five games), and the Packers allow the third-most fantasy points to WRs. Like Julio Jones against Evans' Bucs last week, it just feels like the breakout is coming.
Pass Offense
Patriots at Bills. The Patriots still lead the league in passing yards per game, so even though the Bills are easier to attack on the ground as opposed to through the air, we're banking on Tom Brady doing his thing as usual.
Buccaneers at Packers. The Buccaneers have the No. 3 passing offense and the Packers have the No. 26 pass defense. It doesn't matter who plays QB for Tampa -- the Bucs are going to move the ball through the air.
Chargers vs. Browns. It's usually tough to run on the Browns (No. 8 run defense), but Philip Rivers doesn't seem to like calling running plays anyway. Expect L.A.'s backs, receivers and tight ends to be involved in this aerial assault.
Run Offense
Bears vs. 49ers. Chicago's No. 8 run offense won't try to get cute against San Francisco's No. 30 run defense. Lots of power runs from Jordan Howard mixed with a few outside carries for Tarik Cohen will lead to a big day for the Bears ground game.
Jaguars vs. Colts. Last week, Blake Bortles showed he could get in on the ground attack in Jacksonville, making this an even more dangerous run-first team. Bortles won't need to do much this week with Leonard Fournette and company carrying the load.
Saints at Rams. It's not a good matchup for the Saints, but they find a way to get it done on the ground every week, leading the league in yards per carry (4.9) and ranking third in yards per game (142.1).
Defense
Jaguars vs. Colts. The Colts were shut out and allowed 10 sacks when these teams met in Week 7. This time, expect some takeaways to go with all the sacks.
Chargers vs. Browns. No fantasy defense is hotter than the Chargers, who have eight takeaways and three TDs in their past two games. The Browns give up the most fantasy points to D/STs, so you know how this one is gonna go.
Rams at Cardinals. L.A. dominated the first matchup (zero points, three sacks, two takeaways), and now Blaine Gabbert is playing quarterback for the Cardinals.
Special Teams/Kicker
Rams at Cardinals. Greg Zuerlein is automatic (from inside 60 yards anyway), and the security of an indoor game is enough to make him and the Rams the top pick here.
Titans vs. Texans. Ryan Succop continues to kick well, and he should get more chances than usual against a Texans' defense allowing the third-most fantasy points to kickers.
Vikings at Falcons. Kai Forbath is among the top-five fantasy kickers, while the Falcons allow the sixth-most fantasy points to the position. And, once again, we like the fact this game is indoors.
How to Play
Each week, players will set their lineup across seven positions and can make adjustments up until kickoff. The player who finishes each week with the most fantasy points in their favorite NFL team’s league wins a Wilson mini football and a New Era hat.
