Tyron Smith is likely going to be missing some time.
The Pro Bowl left tackle suffered a right ankle injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 12-10 loss to the Saints when he was rolled up during a sack of quarterback Dak Prescott. Smith needed to be carted off the sideline.

Smith was standing and walking in the locker room, but will return to Dallas in a protective boot with what Cowboys owner Jerry Jones called a high ankle sprain.

According to NFL Media, which cited an unidentified source, Smith received good news after his MRI exam Monday. He's expected to miss Sunday's game against the Packers but hasn't been ruled out for Week 6 against the Jets.
A definitive timeline for his recovery has yet to be finalized, though it's typically 4-6 weeks for a high ankle sprain.
Smith, who has missed games each of the past three seasons, was replaced by former Patriots tackle Cameron Fleming against the Saints. Fleming will likely continue to fill the void if Smith's absence is extended.
The Cowboys (3-1) are next slated to host the Packers (3-1) in Week 5 action.
