Andrew Luck's shocking retirement Saturday night led to countless hot takes on social media, but one in particular drew the wrath of former Dallas Cowboys QB and now Fox NFL analyst Troy Aikman.
The Colts quarterback announced his retirement at age 29, citing his struggle dealing with several injuries, pain and constant rehab over the past four seasons. That prompted Fox Sports Radio host Doug Gottlieb to tweet, "Retiring cause rehabbing is “too hard” is the most millennial thing ever #AndrewLuck"
Aikman tweeted a blistering response Sunday night.
"That’s total bull--- Doug," Aikman wrote. "What qualifies you to decide how someone should live their life? So you’re now the authority on what motivates Andrew Luck? And if his decisions don’t fit into what you think is best for him then you rip him? Guess that keeps you employed on FS1. Nice."

Luck's sudden retirement disappointed some Colts fans — hence the scattered boos as he left the field during the team's preseason game Saturday night. But Luck drew widespread praise and well-wishes from his teammates and rivals around the league, and sympathy from fans everywhere.
Gottlieb's tweet drew condemnation from … well, just about everyone. Former NFL player and now ESPN analyst Mike Golic noted, "Doug come on, I hope you are kidding, and not just looking for attention, that’s just a ridiculous take."
Other takes on Gottlieb's tweet were just as dismissive.
With all the pro football you’ve played I can see where you’re coming from.....

Doug stole credit cards, got recruited because of daddie, coaches covered it up for him to save face & he plagiarized.
