Tom Brady held the spot of "greatest of all time" without question several years ago. But now that Patrick Mahomes is off to a fourth Super Bowl appearance, the debate has been reignited. And Brady's friends appear to be weighing in on where they stand.
Brady was visiting animals in Brisbane, Australia, in a video shared across his social media accounts Monday. He saw kangaroos, birds and, lastly, some goats.
"Coming up on the Mahomes exhibit," one of his friends said in the video.

MORE: Stats to know in Mahomes vs. Brady 'GOAT' debate
Brady worked hard to reach the point where he was considered the undisputed GOAT. He battled along with rival Peyton Manning for years over who was the best quarterback of their generation and toppled Joe Montana's hold on the record for the most Super Bowl rings. With just about every passing record and Super Bowl ring record, it felt like Brady could rest at the end of his career as the unquestioned best quarterback in NFL history.
Just seven years into his career, Mahomes has already put Brady in a position to defend that claim. Mahomes will be playing in his fourth Super Bowl with the chance to add a third ring. He already has two MVPs to his impressive resume, and has gotten off to a far greater statistical start to his career than Brady.
While Kansas City's AFC championship win over the Ravens might have rekindled the debate, there's no question Mahomes still has a ways to go until he can truly top Brady's legacy. But that won't stop others, including Brady's friends, from broaching the topic.
