Tom Brady didn't play like someone with an injured throwing arm.
The Buccaneers quarterback passed for 385 yards and three scores Sunday night despite taking a hit to the arm in the second quarter. Brady had to sling it a lot (he finished with 52 attempts) because the Bucs got behind big to the Chiefs in an eventual 41-31 loss.

Brady also threw downfield a lot, and those throws didn't appear to be affected by whatever might have been bothering him.

What is Tom Brady's injury?
Brady grabbed his right upper arm and elbow after he was hit by a blitzing Chiefs defensive back L'Jarius Sneed. Brady appeared to land on his shoulder after losing the ball, which was recovered by Kansas City' Chris Jones.
Brady wasn't willing to say much after the game about how he was feeling, although he did acknowledge that he was dealing with some physical ailment.

"I'll be all right. It's football," he said when asked at the beginning of his press conference.
The 45-year-old star didn't miss a snap even though he appeared to be in some discomfort. And his play didn't suffer a great deal: Brady completed 39 of his 52 passes, with no interceptions.
Buccaneers QB depth chart
Veteran backup Blaine Gabbert warmed up on the sideline after Brady's arm grab, but Brady was able to return on the Bucs' next possession.
Gabbert, who will turn 33 on Oct. 15, would be the fill-in QB if Brady has to miss any time this season. The 12th-year pro has attempted just 27 passes, completing 16, since Brady's arrival in Tampa in 2020.
Tampa Bay also has second-year pro Kyle Trask on the active roster, but Trask has yet to see the field in the regular season.
