The Minneapolis public transit system was initially ridiculed when a photo of a train promoting Super Bowl 52 appeared to have an error.

The first car read "SUPERB" while the following car read "OWL LII."

Apparently the wording was not an error. It was intentional and used to promote a charity event involving Vikings players on Friday.

The "Superb Owl Party" will be held Friday at Windows on Minnesota on the 50th floor of Minneapolis’ IDS Center. The event will benefit various charities in the Twin Cities — including Arete Academy, the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital, Boys and Girls Club and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Vikings players expected to attend are cornerback Trae Waynes, safety Harrison Smith, tight end Kyle Rudolph, linebacker Anthony Barr, receiver Michael Floyd, kicker Kai Forbath and defensive end Everson Griffen. Vikings executive vice president of football operations Rob Brzezinski confirmed the event on Twitter, responding to various media members who initially questioned the placement of the "B' on the train.

The Vikings players are undoubtedly expecting a superb party and a hoot of a night.
