Saints running back Alvin Kamara is having a rookie season for the ages, with fans, coaches and analysts struggling to find words to describe his elusive yet powerful running style.

Give Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan extra credit for trying to find a Kamara comp. After the Saints' 31-21 win Sunday over the Panthers, a game in which Kamara scored two more touchdowns, Jordan compared the rookie to Bruce Lee.

That's right, the late martial arts legend and film star who singlehandedly — or with both his hands and feet — invented a movie genre while showing off uncanny athleticism.

"[Kamara is] fluid, but strong," Jordan said (via NFL.com). "If [he] gets his flow going, he's really strong with the current."

Laugh if you want, but it's an interesting analogy. Lee, who died in 1973, showed off crazy hops fighting opponents; Kamara has leaped over tacklers this season.

Lee also had surprising strength for his small size; the 5-10 Kamara has broken 31 tackles in the past four weeks, almost twice as many as the second player on the list, Todd Gurley (16), according to Pro Football Focus.

Just witness Kamara's score on fourth-and-goal against the Panthers on Sunday, when he appears to be stopped but continues on into the end zone.

The rookie out of Tennessee has 11 TDs and on Sunday became just the third rookie in NFL history to top 600 yards in both rushing and receiving yards in a season, after Billy Sims in 1980 and Charley Taylor in 1964.

Kamara has a TD in six straight games and is slashing for 7.0 yards per carry.
