Ravens schedule 2024: Dates & times for all 17 games, strength of schedule, final record prediction image

The Ravens saw what can happen when everything clicks in 2023. Lamar Jackson stayed healthy, Roquan Smith and Patrick Queen formed a star-studded linebacking duo and Kyle Hamilton cemented his place among the top safeties in the league.

The result was an AFC-best 13-4 record that featured dismantling wins over the Texans, Lions, 49ers and Dolphins, all teams that wound up playing in January.

Yet for all the success, there was one glaring problem: Baltimore still came up shy of the Super Bowl. Jackson and the Ravens have battled the perception that they struggles in the playoffs, and after getting the first-round bye and throttling the Texans in the divisional round, the Ravens were shut down by the Chiefs in the AFC championship game.

That expectation to break through and deliver the two-time MVP his crowning postseason won't be going anywhere in 2024. The Ravens, already boasting the most well-designed rushing attack in the NFL, added the most physical running back in the league in Derrick Henry. They also brought back Justin Madubuike to maintain one of the NFL's most dominant interior defensive lines in the NFL.

Baltimore also did its usual work of cleaning up in the draft, taking standouts like cornerback Nate Wiggins and wide receiver Devontez Walker who had fallen to once again earn glowing grades for its class. Wiggins brings a much needed presence to improve the corner room, while Walker should give Jackson another standout deep threat among his wide receivers.

The Ravens head into the 2024 season as a clear Super Bowl contender. Which are the teams standing between them and a title?

Here is a complete breakdown of the Ravens' 2024 schedule, including dates, start times, and analysis for their slate of games.

Ravens strength of schedule

The Ravens faced a tough schedule in 2023, with opponents finishing the year with a combined .543 winning percentage, third-toughest in the NFL. That didn't stop Baltimore from going 13-4 and capturing the top record in the AFC.

Next year's schedule appears on track to be nearly as challenging. Sharp Football grades Baltimore as having the fourth-toughest 2024 schedule based on projected Vegas win-loss totals.

Toughest tests: Any talk of the Ravens' 2024 schedule has to start with the division. The AFC North once again projects to be a gauntlet with the Bengals getting back a healthy Joe Burrow, the Browns making improvements around the roster and the Steelers upgrading at quarterback and coming out with a stellar draft class. That will make for at least six challenging games next season.

But there are more challenges outside the division as well. Baltimore earned a first-place schedule for 2024, which means facing the Bills and Texans, the former at home and the latter on the road. The AFC North teams also play the entire AFC West and NFC East teams, which for the Ravens will mean road clashes against the Chiefs and Cowboys, plus a home tilt with the Eagles. None of those will be easy.

Biggest breaks: The bright side for Baltimore is that the AFC West and NFC East also both have several teams coming off brutal seasons that are eyeing rebuilds. The Broncos, Raider,s and Chargers are all looking to hit the reset button after a dismal 2023, and the former two don't have great answers at quarterback going into the season. The Giants made the playoffs two years ago, but Daniel Jones was almost replaced in the draft. Washington might have its quarterback of the future, but the Commanders are still not a Super Bowl contender.

While drawing the Bills and Texans are tough opponents, facing the Buccaneers could offer a chance for the Ravens to have a nice draw against a first-place team. Of the first-place NFC teams, Tampa Bay should offer the easiest matchup. Many will likely peg the Falcons as the toughest of the NFC East foes to face in 2024.

Bottom line: When the Ravens have a perennial MVP candidate in Jackson, the sky is the limit. He has shown any time he's played a fully healthy season just how dominant Baltimore can get.

There are going to be some other questions for Baltimore, however. The receiving room got a boost from rookie Zay Flowers, but still lacks other top-tier players that are in Cincinnati and Cleveland. Henry is a huge addition on paper, but he's also a 30-year-old running back, an age at which many at the position begin to experience some drop-off. Baltimore also faces questions at guard protecting Jackson and lacks a star pass-rusher on the defensive line that each of the other three AFC North teams possess.

This is still a team more than capable of winning the Super Bowl, and one that will find itself as the favorite to repeat as AFC North champions. Repeating as a division winner will be a challenge given the first-place schedule and the little room for error with the other three squads, but Baltimore still has as much talent as any team in the NFL on its roster.

Record prediction: 11-6
