Lamar Jackson won't limit his legs in 2019, but he will look to maximize his arm strength.
During a Monday appearance on Mad Dog Sports Radio, the Ravens quarterback was asked about his ideal pass-to-run ratio ahead of the start of the regular season and explained that he already has a number in mind.
"Probably throwing, probably 30 passes a game," Jackson said on the show. "Running, I probably won't have as many attempts as last year. We have a great backfield and we're just going to take what the defense gives us and take advantage of it and just go from there."

An average of 30 passing attempts per game is a pretty sizable boost from his 23.4 average in his eight starts last season.
Jackson finished his rookie campaign with 170 pass attempts and 1,201 yards compared to 147 carries for 695 yards, which set an NFL record for rushing attempts by a quarterback despite spending only half a season as the starter after Joe Flacco went down with an injury.
On the other hand, Jackson also tied for the NFL lead with 12 fumbles and dropped the ball three more times in Baltimore's wild-card playoff loss, but he's confident those numbers will go down as he focuses less on running and more on throwing.
"Last year it was a lot of (when) thing break down, I just used my legs, not trying to force anything — not trying to force turnovers or anything like that," Jackson said. "I've been working on ball security this year. I had a lot of fumbles, fumbles that really shouldn't have been fumbles, but it happened, but it's going to be a dramatic change this year."
