When the 49ers (11-3) host the Ravens (11-3) to close NFL Week 16 on "Monday Night Football" (8:15 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN), the best team in the NFC will host the best team in the AFC as both try to work toward nailing down the respective No. 1 seeds.

San Francisco already has won the NFC West for a second consecutive season and is trying to stay ahead of Dallas, Philadelphia, and Detroit to earn home-field advantage and the lone bye. Baltimore is hoping to nail down the AFC North and keep Miami and Kansas City at bay to have a huge edge in the playoffs.

Here's a betting breakdown of this Super Bowl 47 rematch, which is also a potential Super Bowl 58 preview:

Ravens vs. 49ers odds, spread, over/under

(All odds courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook)

Spread: Ravens +5.5 (-110) | 49ers -5.5 (-105)
Over/Under: OVER 47 (-110) | UNDER 47 (-110)
Moneyline: Ravens +192 | 49ers -235

The Ravens have been bigger-than-field-goal underdogs all week, but the number has stayed away from reaching a touchdown. That has surprised many, given Baltimore has won four consecutive games while San Francisco is looking for its seventh straight victory. Despite both teams having tough defenses, the relatively high total makes sense given all of the offensive firepower.

Should you bet the 49ers against the spread vs. the Ravens?

The Ravens should be getting a little more respect here. As favorites, they smashed the Seahawks at home but around that game, couldn't do the same vs. two other NFC West foes (Rams at home and Cardinals on the road). They are underdogs in a tough matchup against a superior team on paper, but John Harbaugh and his staff will be prepared to push Kyle Shanahan's red-hot club a little. Off-script plays by Jackson and some timely big plays defensively vs. Purdy will keep them in the game, and you know their sound special teams that travel well.

Our Pick: Ravens +5.5 (-110)

Should you bet the Ravens on the moneyline vs. the 49ers?

The Ravens will have their flashes on both sides of the ball, but when looking for substance vs. style that will win the game, trust in Purdy, McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle providing a little more clutch firepower than Jackson, Gus Edwards, Zay Flowers, Odell Beckham Jr., and Isiah Likely. The 49ers also are bound to have a little more pass-rush and coverage success, and they're the better of two good run-stopping defenses.

Our pick: 49ers -235

Should you bet the Ravens-49ers OVER?

There's a lot of shining on the offensive marquee here, but don't forget about two talented, active defenses that have playmakers, sound tacklers, and savvy cover men. There will be some points left on the table with some third-down stops, and every score will be hard-earned.

Our Pick: UNDER 47 (-110)

Final score prediction: 49ers 24, Ravens 20
