Jared Goff isn't the only Rams play set to start the season with a significant raise.
Tyler Higbee has agreed to a four-year contract extension that keeps him in Los Angeles through the 2023 season, the team announced Thursday.

While financial terms weren't disclosed, ESPN reported the extension makes Higbee among the top 10 highest-paid tight ends.
According to NFL Media, which cited unidentified sources, the deal holds a base value of $31.025 million and garners Higbee a max value of more than $36 million that includes $15.5 million guaranteed.
Higbee, 26, initially was selected by the Rams in the fourth round of the 2016 draft and has played in all 48 regular season games, starting all but nine.
He had 24 receptions for 292 yards and two touchdowns in 2018, and he has 60 catches for 672 yards and four scores for his career.
