Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season concludes with the Chiefs hosting the Raiders in a divisional clash on Monday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium. Patrick Mahomes and the 3-1 Chiefs will look to further distance themselves from the 2-2 Chargers in the AFC West, while Derek Carr and the 1-3 Raiders aim to get out of the divisional basement. We will have plenty of star power in this one, and the wagers have already started flowing in fast and furious. Today we will highlight our favorite player and game props for this primetime affair, and feature our Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay on Caesars Sportsbook

Same Game Parlays have become super popular in the sports betting world. They allow bettors to assemble parlays with more than just the standard moneyline, spread, and over/under bets as legs. For the savvy gamblers and sports enthusiasts, this means more opportunities to make money through statistical research and trend analysis. Plus, it's much more fun than just wagering on the score of the game!

In the case of this Monday Night Football game, it would be understandable if you found the Chiefs -8 or Raiders +8 to be volatile bets. Sure, the Chiefs have proven to be a much better team early in the season, but weird things can happen in primetime games and the Raiders always seem to play Kansas City tough. You might feel more comfortable betting on the individual players within the game to achieve certain statistical levels or hit certain thresholds. That's where Same Game Parlays come in!

Player and game props, especially in this instance, often serve as safer and more lucrative wagering options. And while SGPs have risen in popularity, they remain far less popular among mainstream bettors than standard spread, moneyline, and over/under betting. That means less juice or vig, and more potential money in our pockets.

Each weekend, we put together a list of our favorite prop bets for the upcoming Monday Night Football game, and explain our reasoning behind each pick. We enter the handful of props that made the cut into a parlay, and determine what kind of odds and potential payout we will see if we pull the trigger on the SGP.

WEEK 5 NFL PICKS: Against the Spread | Moneyline Picks | Best Bets

Like most of our primetime games, you’ll notice the foundation of our parlay has been laid with three props in the -111 to -124 range. Typically during same-game parlay creation, you should aim to include mostly props with strong probabilities of hitting. Since every leg of the parlay needs a green checkmark in order for us to cash, we can’t just jack up the potential payout with all props listed at plus odds.

Let’s dive into our Week 5 Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay, and make some money on what should be an unforgettable primetime game!

All Same Game Parlay props are from Caesars Sportsbook.

Patrick Mahomes OVER 275.5 passing yards (-117)

Mahomes keeps cracking our primetime SGPs, as we apparently just can't quit him. What can we say? He's one of the greatest QBs of this generation, and he just keeps slinging despite losing Tyreek Hill in the offseason. Throughout his career, Mahomes has averaged 291.7 passing yards in nationally-televised night games, and a whopping 318.3 passing yards against the Raiders. Las Vegas has surrendered the 11th-most passing yards to opposing QBs so far, despite facing struggling veterans Ryan Tannehill and Russell Wilson over the past two weeks. Justin Herbert and Kyler Murray both put up 277-plus air yards against Vegas in Weeks 1 and 2, respectively. This prop is a stone-cold (or Sloan-cold?), iron-clad lock.

WEEK 5 NFL PICKS ADVICE: Pick 'em pools | Survivor pools

Travis Kelce anytime TD scorer (-124)

Another guy with ice in his veins, Kelce is the undisputed king of the Chiefs' pass-catchers now that Tyreek Hill took his talents to South Beach. The stud tight end has scored touchdowns in three of Kansas City's first four games this season, and came mere yards away from a fourth before Chargers safety Derwin James body-slammed him outside the end zone in Week 2. Kelce has 46 touchdowns since 2017, 19 of which have come in primetime contests. We're not getting plus odds like we did for Kelce's TD prop last weekend, but we'll still gladly take him at -124 to find paydirt for the fourth time this season. Vegas has already allowed two tight end TDs this season, and Kelce has seven career scores against the Raiders.

Josh Jacobs

Josh Jacobs OVER 60.5 rushing yards (+108)

Jacobs has very quietly enjoyed a solid season with the Raiders, clearly earning the confidence of first-year Vegas head coach Josh McDaniels. In the preseason, we heard plenty of chatter about Jacobs being stuck in a backfield timeshare, but in the regular season it's been all JJ. He has 336 rushing yards on the season, averaging 4.8 yards per carry and 84 yards per game. And while Kansas City has surrendered just 65.8 rushing yards per game — the fewest ground yards allowed in the NFL — we think that's most due to game script. One thing New Englanders know about McDaniels from his lengthy tenure as Patriots offensive coordinator: he sticks to the game script. A McDaniels offense will always pound the run to shore up downfield space for the passing game. Jacobs should clear 61 rushing yards easily, especially considering he has little to no competition for touches.

Davante Adams

Davante Adams OVER 76.5 receiving yards (-115)

The studs usually show up when the lights shine the brightest, so expect All-Pro wideout Adams to kick things into an extra gear this Monday night. It has taken some time for Derek Carr and Adams to get on the same page, but they certainly looked to be gelling in Week 4 against the Broncos. Despite going against stud cornerback Pat Surtain II most of the night, Adams scorched Denver for nine catches on 13 targets for 101 yards. The most comforting stat for Raiders Nation: he caught nearly 70 percent of his targets. With Kansas City still desperately missing Tyrann Mathieu in its secondary, expect Adams to have another monster primetime game.

Derek Carr 12-20 getty-ftr

Derek Carr OVER 0.5 interceptions (-111)

While we like Carr to hook up with Adams throughout the night, it's mostly because we think the veteran QB will be chucking the ball 35-40 times in an attempt to stay with the high-flying Chiefs. But with passing volume often comes mistakes, especially in Carr's case. He has a career-high 2.6 percent interception rate this season, having tossed four picks in just 154 passing attempts. He stayed out of trouble against Denver last week, but Vegas putting up 212 rushing yards and two ground TDs helped. Carr has thrown at least one interception in each of the Raiders' last seven games against Kansas City, throwing a total of 10 picks in that span. At least one duck will be thrown in Arrowhead Monday, and the duck will more than likely come from Carr.
