The Raiders will play in the MLB Giants' Oracle Park in the Las Vegas-bound NFL team's final season in the Bay Area, NBC Sports Bay Area reported, citing unidentified NFL sources.

The Associated Press reported first that the Raiders were in talks with the Giants about playing in the ballpark formerly known as AT&T Park.

The NFL and presumably MLB would have to OK the deal that likely would require the 49ers' approval, too, despite the fact that the Raiders' previously played their games at Oakland Coliseum, actually about half as far from Oracle Park as the Niners' Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, some 44 miles south of the Giants' ballpark. The NFL presumably would be sensitive to the fact that "San Francisco" is attached to the 49ers' official name, licensing and team marks.

The Raiders are scheduled to begin play in a $1 billion facility in Las Vegas in 2020.
