Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs made history Sunday, becoming the first NFL team in nearly 20 years to win back-to-back Super Bowls.
The victory came in epic fashion. The Chiefs became just the second team to win the Super Bowl in overtime and were the first to do so after trailing in the extra period.
Naturally, Mahomes and Co. could hardly contain their excitement as Mecole Hardman's 3-yard touchdown catch brought the longest Super Bowl of all time — 74 minutes, 57 seconds of game time — to an end.
BENDER: Where does Patrick Mahomes rank among greatest QBs of all time?
NFL Films captured Mahomes' reaction to the game-winning play — known as "Tom and Jerry," a variation of the "Corn Dog Shuttle" play the Chiefs used frequently to dispatch the Eagles in Super Bowl 57 — and released it as part of "Inside the NFL's" mic'd up segment.
The clip fully captured Mahomes' elation as he clinched his third Super Bowl victory.

The clip shines some light on one of the best moments from the end of Super Bowl 58. Hardman actually wasn't aware that his catch clinched a Chiefs victory — he claimed he "blacked out" after making the play — so Mahomes had to remind him while celebrating the score.
"We're world champs," Mahomes shouted. "Let's go, man! We're world champs."
DeCOURCY: Patrick Mahomes proves again a Purdy good quarterback isn't enough to win Super Bowl
Fans also got a glimpse at what Mahomes said as he ran to the sideline and barrel-rolled to the ground, which created one of the lasting images of Super Bowl 58.
The 28-year-old quarterback simply let out a shout of joy as he soaked in one of the best moments of his professional career.
One could hear not only the exultation in Mahomes' scream, but also a sense of relief after the Chiefs completed the comeback. The team spent a lot of energy in the five-quarter game, and it was clear that the players — including Mahomes — were exhausted by the end.
But there was still plenty of time for celebration after the win. Mahomes' spontaneous, reflexive reaction to the final score was just the beginning of it.
