Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is boycotting Meek Mill's music — one song, at least — until the Super Bowl is over.

Mahomes, meeting with media at Super Bowl Opening Night on Monday, said Meek Mill's "Dreams and Nightmares" — from the album of the same name — is getting taken off his pregame setlist. Why? Because Mill is from Philadelphia, and a huge Eagles fan.

"I usually listen to 'Dreams and Nightmares,' but I don't know if I can listen to that this week," Mahomes said. "I'm a big Meek Mill fan, but I'm going to have to throw that music aside at least for this week."

Mill, of course, has been an unabashed and vocal supporter of his hometown team. In turn, Philadelphia has adopted "Dreams and Nightmares" — which likewise pays homage to the City of Brother Love — as its anthem in recent seasons, playing it during the team's run to the Super Bowl in 2018.

The Eagles even had Mill perform a live version of the song in a Week 6 home game vs. the Cowboys:

That said, other members of the Chiefs aren't going to switch things up just because of their Super Bowl opponent. That includes receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who said he would continue listening to Philly-based rapper Lil Uzi Vert — including his "Just Wanna Rock" song, which the team played in the NFC championship game.

"If Philly comes out to that on Sunday that — because that's their new anthem — I'm going to dance with them," Smith-Schuster said on Monday.
