Panthers vs. Bears FanDuel Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for Week 10 TNF single-game tournaments image

Week 10 might be a bye week for the fans. The prime-time slate is brutal for the paying customers who are subjected to watching the Panthers and Bears open the action. About the only way to make this game interesting is to put together a FanDuel single-game DFS lineup.

This matchup will not include Justin Fields (thumb), meaning it's once again Tyson Bagent time. The Panthers' first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft is ticketed for Chicago, so they're really hoping this year's top pick, Bryce Young, can turn the corner. In fairness to the rookie, though, the team is an injury-riddled disaster. Frank Reich's job security is already coming into question with an impatient owner seemingly only one call away from blowing it all up again. Depending on your point of view, it's either exciting or depressing.

Bottom line -- if you have errands or other commitments to tend to, this might be your chance to tick those off your checklist. However, if you want action, you can find it with our FanDuel lineup that will be working for you on Thursday night.

Before we break down our picks and strategy, here are the most notable scoring rules for FanDuel contests: four-point passing TDs and half-point PPR.

Panthers-Bears FanDuel Picks Week 10: NFL DFS lineup for GPP tournaments

$60,000 budget, at least one player from each team required

MVP (1.5x points) WR DJ Moore, Bears ($13,000). Moore is set to face his former team on Thursday night, and he gets to do it when the Panthers have a mountain of injuries on defense. Moore is yet to find the end zone in any of Tyson Bagent's three starts, but that should change soon. He's seen 20 targets over the past three games and is typically a reliable weapon in Chicago's offense. Bagent's relied mostly on the tight ends and running backs during his time under center, but we think Moore will be motivated to get the ball often on Thursday night.

FLEX WR Adam Thielen, Panthers ($15,000). Speaking of reliable, Thielen is about as reliable as they come. He's produced at a high level since he made his NFL debut, and that doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. He's receiving almost 10 targets a game, turning in some big numbers through the season's first nine weeks. He might end up seeing plenty of Jaylon Johnson on Thursday night, but Carolina has no one else to turn to in the passing game. As a volume play, Thielen is a must-have in all DFS lineups for this game.

FLEX TE Cole Kmet, Bears ($10,500). Kmet has officially arrived on the fantasy scene this season. After hoping it would happen for quite some time, it took Bagent under center for Kmet to finally be recognized as a good tight end. He's coming off a two-TD game and has been serving as the No. 1 security blanket for his rookie QB. With the lack of stars in this contest, we'll trust this emerging one to deliver.

FLEX WR Darnell Mooney, Bears ($10,000). After being mostly an afterthought all season, Mooney is once again back on the radar in Chicago. The receiver turned in a five-catch 82-yard performance on six targets last week. We've already mentioned that the Panthers are dealing with a banged-up secondary, and all it takes is one big catch from the speedster to give us a great return on investment.

FLEX RB Miles Sanders, Panthers ($9,500). Our lineup is clearly geared toward the Panthers having to play from behind on Thursday night, and while Chuba Hubbard has taken over as RB1, it's possible we see Sanders get some action. He figures to be involved in the passing game once the Panthers need to throw more often, and it's an area where the running back has excelled in the past. Carolina needs to start getting creative with its lack of talent on offense, and using Sanders as a receiver would be a great place to start.

Best SuperDraft NFL DFS Picks for Panthers-Bears

This year, we're also listing our favorite weekly DFS plays on SuperDraft

For those unfamiliar, SuperDraft's DFS scoring involves point multipliers as opposed to traditional salary-capped or tiered contests. A winning lineup will likely feature a strong mix of stud fantasy contributors with 1x-1.6x boosts, as well as matchup-based sleepers with larger multipliers. Each player is assigned a scoring multiplier based on their value as determined by SuperDraft. Users can roster any player in their lineup with no restrictions.

MORE SUPERDRAFT DFS: How to play SuperDraft

  • Champion (+50% points): WR DJ Moore, Bears (Multiplier 1.75x)
  • Super FLEX: TE Cole Kmet, Bears (Multiplier 1.55x)
  • Super FLEX: RB Chuba Hubbard, Panthers (Multiplier 1.4x)
  • Super FLEX: WR Adam Thielen, Panthers (Multiplier 1x)
  • Super FLEX: WR Tyler Scott, Bears (Multiplier 2.45x)

There aren't many impact players on Thursday night, leaving us with very few avenues to differentiate from the rest. One way is to look to a rookie, Tyler Scott, who has seen some opportunities in recent weeks. His snap counts have been on the rise since Week 6 (at least 56 percent in every game), and he has big-play ability. Velus Jones Jr. famously dropped a long touchdown in Week 8, and it's time for the Bears to start giving those opportunities to Scott, especially after he was seen being used as a blocker in Week 9 against Cameron Jordan.
