The NFL handed out its weekly fines Saturday, and the biggest surprise turned out to be the fine that the league did not issue.
Remember that creative TD celebration by Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill last Sunday against the Cardinals, where he hopped in the camera well and pretended to operate a network TV camera? The NFL did not fine Hill for the celebration.

Recall that Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas drew a $30,000 penalty for pretending to use a cellphone after a touchdown earlier this month. One would think that based on that precedent, Hill might have drawn a fine. But actually, the NFL fined Thomas “for using the phone as a prop and having a mobile device in the bench area.” Apparently, operating a TV camera is OK.
