Gareon Conley is heading to the Lonestar State.
The Raiders have traded the cornerback to the Texans for a third-round pick, The Athletic first reported.

The Raiders shortly after confirmed Conley had been traded, with coach Jon Gruden wishing him the best of luck.

According to ESPN, the third-round pick the Texans received from the Seahawks when they traded Jadeveon Clowney is the same one they will be trading to the Raiders.

He will be a welcome addition to the Texans, who lost cornerback Phillip Gaines in Sunday's loss to the Colts. Meanwhile, the team's other corner, Bradley Roby, missed the game with a hamstring injury.
Conley was Oakland's first-round pick (24th overall) in 2017. He has 23 tackles and one interception in six games this year and four interceptions, 18 passes defensed and 67 tackles in 23 career games.
