The NFL playoff picture will crystalize this week as Week 17 of the regular season plays out. While many teams have clinched, the seeding is still up in the air for some of the league's top teams. 

It's the last week of the season and while many teams control their own fate, some need help from other games. AFC leaders Chiefs, Patriots, Chargers, Texans and Titans are still all fighting for that highly coveted first-round bye. The first four mentioned teams also have the chance to claim home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, with some scenarios more likely to play out than others.

On the NFC side the Saints have already locked up that home-field advantage. The Rams and the Bears hope to join New Orleans in watching the wild-card round of the playoffs from home, and fight for that second first-round bye spot. 

Below are the NFL playoff clinching scenarios in play for Week 17, along with the overall playoff picture as the 2018 postseason is on the horizon.
