Saturday marked a busy morning in the NFL as the cut deadline approached in the early evening.

It was also a day full of blockbuster trades with the Texans at the center of it all, and some players on the teams involved responded to the weekend's events in hilarious ways.

First, Jadeveon Clowney was moved to Seattle.

It had been widely reported the star pass-rusher was nearing a deal with a new team and the Seahawks were Clowney's "preferred" destination.

Clowney, who had stayed away from the Texans during the preseason while refusing to sign his one-year, $15.967 million franchise tag, never planned to start the season in Houston and said he was willing to miss the entire year if he didn't receive a new contract.

Now, Clowney will be on the field and there's one quarterback who is very happy with the new deal.

Russell Wilson reacted to the news, tweeting:

More news rocked the Houston organization when it landed wide receiver Kenny Stills and left tackle Laremy Tunsil from Miami.

This stunning deal gave the Dolphins an array of draft picks over the next two years but more importantly it will give the offense a boost with Stills' hands and Tunsil's protection of the oft-sacked Deshaun Watson.

In the whirlwind of an afternoon, some established Texans found out about the trade in equally unique and hilarious ways.

J.J. Watt was playing a round of golf when he heard the news.
