Panthers center Ryan Kalil says he's got one more season in him and that's it.

The five-time Pro Bowler and two-time First-Team All-Pro, who will turn 33 in March, told the Charlotte Observer Tuesday he'll retire after the 2018 season.

“This is going to be the last one for me,” Kalil told the Observer.

The Panthers' second-round pick (No. 59 overall) out of USC in 2007, Kalil has been the anchor of the offensive lines protecting quarterback Cam Newton the past few years. But last season was tough, as Kalil battled a serious neck injury and played only six games. Although he's been cleared by doctors to play, he didn't detail his condition.

“I’m of the mindset to try to keep my medical stuff as private as humanly possible,” Kalil told the Observer.

Kalil is the second high-profile Panthers player to announce 2018 will be his final season. Linebacker Thomas Davis will also hang up his cleats.

Kalil says he doesn't want a big send off.

“I’m not doing the farewell tour, that’s for sure," he said.
