Although few predicted the Packers' outright victory as 8.5-point road underdogs against the Lions in the first game of Week 12, favorites rebounded strongly, making it a tough holiday weekend for sportsbooks.
Week 13 features a condensed 13-game slate with six teams on bye. The action kicks off with a Cowboys-Seahawks tilt on Thursday night, leading into an 11-game Sunday slate. 49ers -2.5 (-110) @ Eagles
While we commend the Eagles for routinely finding ways to win games, if Philly had not won the turnover battle in the past two weeks, it could have easily dropped its past two games. The Eagles are undoubtedly every bit of a Super Bowl contender, but have they really played at the level to justify their 10-1 record? We're not so sure, and think the 49ers play clean football en route to a road win and cover this Sunday.
Lions -4 (-110) @ Saints
Detroit has been -6 in turnover margin over the past two weeks, but they somehow found a way to go 1-1. Against a struggling Saints offense, as long as Jared Goff protects the football (which could be a tough ask), look for Dan Campbell's team to get back in the win column with a five-plus point road victory in Week 13.
