Raiders left tackle Donald Penn has reportedly agreed to a pay cut for this season, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, which will keep the veteran in Oakland.
The 35-year-old, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, is coming off Lisfranc surgery in December. While currently on the physically unable to perform list, Penn is expected to begin practicing soon.

According to Rapoport, Penn reportedly will receive a "small pay cut" for the final year of his contract. He originally signed a two-year, $21 million deal in September.
Rapoport reported last week that Penn's future with Oakland was "up in the air" if he didn't agree to a pay cut.
Now, Penn can focus on getting healthy for the season. He provides a veteran presence on the Raiders' line, and he's still an elite performer — two of his three Pro Bowl selections came the past two seasons.
He should also be a great mentor for offensive tackle Kolton Miller, the Raiders' first-round pick — No. 15 overall — in this year's draft.
