Per the report, Grantham is the leading candidate to become Cincinnati's defensive coordinator. He has been with the Gators since 2018.
If Grantham were to get the position, it will mark the first time since 2009 he will be back in the NFL. He served as the Browns' defensive coordinator from 2005-07 and became the Cowboys' defensive line coach from 2008-09.
He also served as a defensive line coach for the Colts (1999-2001) and the Texans (2002-04).
He jumped to the college ranks in 2010 and served as Georgia's defensive coordinator (2010-13), Louisville's DC (2014-16) and Mississippi State's DC (2017) before he moved on to Florida.
The Bengals reportedly are interested in Jack Del Rio, Aubrey Pleasant and Dom Capers for the position, as well.
