The Jaguars aren’t sure if Leonard Fournette will play in Week 2.
The 23-year-old running back left Jacksonville’s game against the Giants last weekend in the second quarter with a hamstring injury. Fournette did not practice Friday and Jaguars coach Doug Marrone told reporters he is questionable to play against the Patriots on Sunday.
Marrone says Leonard Fournette did not practice and is questionable for Sunday. Sounds like a game time decision. #patriots #jaguars

Fournette said Thursday he was "feeling better."
"Any person would give anything to play (against New England), especially (since) it's a great football team we're going against," Fournette said (via ESPN). "Just have to see.
"My main focus is to strengthen it back up, get the swelling or whatever that is in there (down), and come out Sunday and play."
Fournette rushed for 41 yards on nine carries before he left the game against the Giants. He was replaced by T.J. Yeldon, who tallied 51 yards on the ground.
The former LSU star was selected by the Jaguars with the fourth pick in the 2017 draft. He registered 1,040 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in 13 games as a rookie.
