The annual marquee event of the pre-draft season is here again: The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
The combine might have a different feel now with so much of the evaluation process happening outside of Indy, but between the measurements, interviews, and on-field workouts, the stock of several prospects remains in flux.
Ahead of the invited players getting a chance to leave an impression on the entire league all in the same place, here's Sporting News' latest mock draft, now expanding to a full two rounds, No. 1 to No. 64 overall:
NFL DRAFT: Updated board of top 125 players overall, rankings by position
NFL Mock Draft 2024
Round 1
1. Chicago Bears (from Panthers)
- Caleb Williams, QB, USC (6-1, 218 pounds)
The Bears keep shopping Justin Fields and seem more committed to going in that direction for a trade vs. moving the No. 1 overall pick for a second consecutive offseason. Williams is a bona fide elite talent. That won't change with the combine. The Bears also could get a higher-upside QB with a reset rookie contract.
2. Washington Commanders (4-13 last season)
-
Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina (6-5, 220 pounds)
Maye is battling to be the second QB taken thanks to his arm and accuracy, which give him a high floor in the NFL. The Commanders still have a tough choice between Maye and the more dynamic Heisman winner, Jayden Daniels.
3. New England Patriots (4-13)
-
Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU (6-4, 210 pounds)
The Patriots, with Maye off the board, would need to go in a different direction from the traditional pocket passer, and Daniels is an explosive runner and rising all-around playmaker with a big-play arm to match.

4. Arizona Cardinals (4-13)
- Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State (6-3, 202 pounds)
Harrison had nothing else to prove at the combine after showing he could be a dominant No. 1 in the NFL throughout his college career with the Buckeyes. He has better physical tools than his famous father, who played in Indianapolis. The Cardinals need a true top target for Kyler Murray with Marquise Brown unsigned.
5. Los Angeles Chargers (5-12)
-
Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia (6-4, 240 pounds)
The Chargers should have receivers on their mind at the combine as they consider cutting Mike Williams and realize Keenan Allen and Gerald Everett don't have much left in the tank. Replacing Everett with Bowers makes a lot of sense for the revamped offense, as Bowers can be the new Mark Andrews under OC Greg Roman.
6. New York Giants (6-11)
- Malik Nabers, WR, LSU (6-0, 200 pounds)
The Giants need a smooth route-running No. 1 receiver to boost Daniel Jones in Brian Daboll's new offense, and Nabers would be the strong after-the-catch option they crave most.
7. Tennessee Titans (6-11)
- Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame (6-7, 316 pounds
The Titans should be watching offensive line closely at the combine after landing guard Peter Skoronski in the first round in 2023. Alt would help them lock down left tackle for a long time like Taylor Lewan once did.

8. Atlanta Falcons (7-10)
-
Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama (6-4, 240 pounds)
The Falcons could be considering the veteran avenue to solve QB for new coach Raheem Morris, and that would free them to get their defensive-minded coach some pass-rush pop. Turner, like Will Anderson Jr., should prove he's the most reliable option at the combine.
9. Chicago Bears (7-10)
-
Rome Odunze, WR, Washington (6-3, 201 pounds)
Should the Bears either keep Fields or trade him to clear the way for Williams, they should be watching all the wide receivers closely at the combine to add a big-time, big-play weapon opposite DJ Moore. Odunze would be ideal for a Pac-12 reunion with Williams.
10. New York Jets (7-10)
- Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State (6-6, 321 pounds)
Fashanu is a stout all-around force. Should the Jets be optimistic about Mekhi Becton being on track, they can look at Fashanu to solve their massive problem at right tackle as an immediate starter.
11. Minnesota Vikings (7-10)
-
Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA (6-5, 265 pounds)
The Vikings need some pass-rush help, too, and they should appreciate Latu's big production outside and potential to be effective when needed inside.
12. Denver Broncos (8-9)
- J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan (6-3, 202 pounds)
The Broncos' future with Russell Wilson is a little hard to read, but the relationship might not be reparable, despite the financial investment. Denver will consider all the QB options at the combine, but McCarthy's hard-nosed, athletic playmaking is good a fit with Sean Payton.
13. Las Vegas Raiders (8-9)
- Bo Nix, QB, Oregon (6-2, 217 pounds)
The Raiders also are hyper-focused on solving their QB issues in the AFC West, and either Nix or McCarthy should be on their radar most. Nix checks the key box with his arm and deep accuracy. He also has the athletic upside and experienced floor for new offensive coordinator Luke Getsy.

14. New Orleans Saints (9-8)
-
Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State (6-6, 234 pounds)
Fuaga has a nice combination of size, smarts, agility, and savvy that will keep getting more attention closer to the draft. The Saints need to focus on either offensive or defensive tackle. Their perimeter blocking is a concern with Ryan Ramczyk hurting and Trevor Penning disappointing.
15. Indianapolis Colts (9-8)
-
Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama (6-0, 196 pounds)
The Colts have a key need for impact coverage outside, regardless of what they do with ace slot man Kenny Moore. Arnold is smooth and agile for his size and can also be a bonus asset vs. the run.
16. Seattle Seahawks (9-8)
-
Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State (6-4, 248 pounds)
The Seahawks will want to revamp their pass rush for new defensive-minded coach Mike Macdonald, whose Ravens led the league in sacks last season. Verse is a very productive player with explosive upside.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars (9-8)
-
Jer'Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois (6-2, 295 pounds)
The Jaguars need some interior defensive help regardless if they can keep Josh Allen on the edge. Newton can boost their front against the run and also add to their pass rush under new coordinator Ryan Nielsen.
18. Cincinnati Bengals (9-8)
- J.C. Latham, OT, Alabama (6-7, 340 pounds)
The Bengals franchise-tagged Tee Higgins, so wide receiver is less of an offensive need. However, they will still be tracking impact offensive tackles for Joe Burrow at the combine. Latham has the pass-protection upside of Tristan Wirfs.
19. Los Angeles Rams (10-7)
-
Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa (6-1, 209 pounds)
The Rams could use a unique, versatile cover man and active playmaker in their secondary after hitting on some front-seven talent last year. DeJean makes a lot of sense in Chris Shula's scheme.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7)
-
Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia (6-7, 340 pounds)
The Steelers found a promising right tackle last year in first-rounder Broderick Jones, but for whoever's QB this year, Pittsburgh needs an upgrade over Dan Moore Jr. at left tackle. They should love his pure pass-protection frame, which is suited to be nasty against the run, too.
21. Miami Dolphins (11-6)
- Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo (6-0, 196 pounds)
The Dolphins had to cut Xavien Howard because of diminishing returns at a higher price opposite Jalen Ramsey. They can get an immediate starter here with nice size and speed. Mitchell has kept rising as a smaller-school prospect.
22. Philadelphia Eagles (11-6)
-
Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State (6-3, 250 pounds)
The Eagles know Brandon Graham is a 35-year-old free agent and Haason Reddick might need to be moved for cap purposes. Robinson would be a welcome keystone pass rusher in their new defense under Vic Fangio.
23. Houston Texans (from Browns)
- Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas (6-1, 308 pounds)
Sheldon Rankins is a 29-year-old free-agent and Maliek Collins is also nearing 30. Murphy packs a lot of power into a smaller frame and has room to grow bigger and stronger for DeMeco Ryans.
24. Dallas Cowboys (12-5)
-
Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma (6-7, 327 pounds)
The Cowboys need to consider Tyron Smith's replacement at left tackle, and Guyton should continue to impress more at the combine. Guyton has the look of a mauler, but he's jumped into the first round as a nimble, agile tackle.
25. Green Bay Packers (9-8)
- Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson (6-2, 185 pounds)
The Packers will consider offensive tackle early, too, but with Eric Stokes struggling and Keesean Nixon unsigned, they need to think about getting a strong bookend to Jaire Alexander. Wiggins fits the bill with his versatility and size.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-8)
-
Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama (6-1, 195 pounds)
The Buccaneers might be positioned to take the best player available, and they could very much use playmaking depth in their secondary. McKinstry has slipped a bit in relation to other corners, but he can deliver well in Todd Bowles' defense.
27. Arizona Cardinals (from Texans)
-
Jackson Powers-Johnson, G, Oregon (6-6, 320 pounds
The Cardinals need to boost their interior blocking right along with their offensive skill around Kyler Murray, and Powers-Johnson is a good follow-up to 2023 first-round tackle Paris Johnson Jr.
28. Buffalo Bills (11-6)
-
Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU (6-4, 205 pounds)
The Bills won't be re-signing Gabe Davis, so they need a versatile No. 2 to play off Stefon Diggs. Thomas has the size, route-running, and physicality to be productive outside or inside.
29. Detroit Lions (12-5)
-
Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri (6-0, 188 pounds)
The Lions need to upgrade corner for Aaron Glenn, and they should like Rakestraw's one-on-one physical coverage potential after their perimeter veterans didn't pan out well last year.
30. Baltimore Ravens (13-4)
- Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona (6-5, 325 pounds)
The Ravens need to think about replacing fading Ronnie Stanley soon, as his contract has a near-future out. Morgan, like Tyler Guyton, should continue to impress with his athleticism during workouts that show he can maximize impact for his size.
31. San Francisco 49ers (12-5)
- Troy Fautanu, G, Washington (6-4, 317 pounds)
The 49ers must get better on the interior with a quick athletic blocker, and Fautanu also adds a special brand of physicality to his power efforts.
32. Kansas City Chiefs (11-6)
- Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State (6-4, 215 pounds)
Coleman has the smooth route-running to appeal to Patrick Mahomes, and his size provides needed upside as an outside, big-play threat.
Round 2
33. Carolina Panthers
- Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas (6-4, 196 pounds)
The Panthers need to add a speedy deep threat in the Mike Evans vein with nice size to help Bryce Young. Mitchell would operate well stretching the field intermediate-to-deep for Dave Canales.
33. New England Patriots
- Graham Barton, OT, Duke (6-3, 311 pounds)
The Patriots may not be able to keep guard Mike Onwenu as a free agent, and left tackle Trent Browns is also unsigned. Barton is a natural in the outside running game, and his potential in pass protection means he can start well at either line position over time.
35. Arizona Cardinals
-
Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia (6-0, 180 pounds)
The Cardinals need a big, physical, versatile corner to help Jonathan Gannon's defense, and Lassiter, with a familiar last name, is a good get after Arizona goes offense early.
36. Washington Commanders
-
Bralen Trice, EDGE, Washington (6-4, 256 pounds)
The Commanders need to rebuild their pass rush after trading Chase Young and Montez Sweat. Getting the productive Trice is a good foundation for Dan Quinn's defense.
37. Los Angeles Chargers
-
Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon (6-3, 187 pounds)
The Chargers may need to move on from Mike Williams for salary cap purposes. Either way, they're getting older at WR with Keenan Allen. After landing Bowers in the first round, it would be nice to give Justin Herbert another open-field playmaker.
38. Tennessee Titans
-
Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina (6-3, 227 pounds)
The Titans need to add more wide receiver pop, as Treylon Burks hasn't gotten going and DeAndre Hopkins isn't a long-term answer. Legette gives them a needed element of a deep threat in the new Brian Callahan offense.
39. New York Giants
-
Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri (6-5, 291 pounds)
The Giants could use a boost to their pass-rush rotation under new defensive coordinator Shane Bowen. Robinson has some explosive, freakish qualities that will allow him to get the QB situationally well early in his career.
40. Washington Commanders (from Bears)
-
Chris Braswell, EDGE, Alabama (6-3, 255 pounds)
Braswell would be the ideal rookie complement to Bralen Trice as a well-rounded playmaker whose athleticism was a little overshadowed by Dallas Turner in college.
41. Green Bay Packers (from Jets)
- Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M (6-3, 230 pounds)
The Packers need to get better in second-level coverage, and Cooper can provide that with his speed and quickness.
42. Minnesota Vikings
-
Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington (6-3, 214 pounds)
The Vikings need a strong-armed pocket passer to succeed Kirk Cousins in Kevin O'Connell's system. Penix, above all other QBs in this class that are bound to go ahead of him, fits that style best.
43. Atlanta Falcons
-
Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia (6-0, 188 pounds)
The Falcons will be turning to more 11 personnel under new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson, and they need a key target to complement Drake London outside and Kyle Pitts inside. McConkey is sound all-around and can do anything they need in multiple alignments.
44. Las Vegas Raiders
-
Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU (6-6, 315 pounds)
The Raiders could use some tackle help to support Kolten Miller, and Suamataia is a sturdy force in the running game with more pass-protection promise as a pro.
45. New Orleans Saints (from Broncos)
-
T'Vondre Sweat, DT, Texas (6-4, 362 pounds)
The Saints were gutted at defensive tackle in the previous offseason and need some extra power. Sweat can blow up blockers well vs. run and pass.
46. Indianapolis Colts
-
Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas (6-1, 170 pounds)
The Colts are set to franchise Michael Pittman Jr., but they need more big-play returns from their passing game. Although Alec Pierce and Josh Downs have flashed, Worthy is more explosive and complete than either current young Indy wideout.
47. New York Giants (from Seahawks)
-
Payton Wilson, LB, NC State (6-4, 238 pounds)
The Giants need a smart, instinctual, and downright dynamic athlete to clean up the second level, and Wilson is getting more attention for all of those traits.
48. Jacksonville Jaguars
-
Patrick Paul, OT, Houston (6-7, 315 pounds)
After getting Jer'Zhan Newton for the defensive line in the first round, the Jaguars would then need to prioritize offensive tackle. Anton Harrison is possibly better suited for guard, and Cam Robinson is getting older and could be a potential salary-cap cut.
49. Cincinnati Bengals
-
Ja'Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas (6-4, 243 pounds)
The Bengals have been attached plenty to Brock Bowers in the first round to boost Burrow, but with Higgins back and Tyler Boyd set to be gone, they can adjust their offense with the athletic Sanders being the inside complement to their wideouts.
50. Philadelphia Eagles (from Saints)
- T.J. Tampa, CB, Iowa State (6-2, 200 pounds)
With James Bradberry and Darius Slay nearing the end, the Eagles need to give DC Vic Fangio a big, speedy corner who can hold up in single coverage.
51. Pittsburgh Steelers
-
Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia (6-3, 310 pounds)
The Steelers, after getting another offensive tackle in the first round, can jump on Frazier's natural upgrade to replace Mason Cole in the second round.
52. Los Angeles Rams
-
Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota (6-2, 210 pounds)
The Rams could use some strong safety help, and Nubin can be explosive all over the field in cleaning up vs. run and pass.
53. Philadelphia Eagles
-
Jeremiah Trotter Jr. LB, Clemson (6-0, 230 pounds)
This would not just be a legacy pick for the Eagles because of how well his namesake father once played for them. The Eagles are taking a closer look at him at the combine as an active, stat-stuffing playmaker.
54. Cleveland Browns
-
Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan (6-3, 285 pounds)
The Browns should be intrigued by this strong inside pass rusher who also can hold up well enough for them against the run.
55. Miami Dolphins
-
Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan (6-0, 192 pounds)
The Dolphins keep having a need for speed, and they definitely have a big need for a third big-play target to support Tyreek Hill
56. Dallas Cowboys
-
Jonathon Brooks, RB, Texas (6-0, 207 pounds)
The Cowboys got a disappointing feature season out of Tony Pollard after giving him the franchise tag. They are ready to jump on Brooks, who can replace Pollard well with his explosive running and dynamic receiving.
57. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
-
Adisa Isaac, EDGE, Penn State (6-4, 254 pounds)
The Buccaneers need to add more youthful depth to their pass rush, and the relentless, quick Isaac has emerged as a fine prospect in his own right opposite Chop Robinson.
58. Green Bay Packers
-
Calen Bullock, S, USC (6-3, 190 pounds)
The Packers could easily move on from average free agent Darnell Savage and turn to Bullock for a speedy, coverage-based replacement.
59. Houston Texans
- Blake Corum, RB, Michigan (5-8, 213 pounds)
The Texans will be remixing their backfield for more zip in their running game, and Corum would provide that well playing off a strong downfield passing game under Bobby Slowik.
60. Buffalo Bills
-
Jonah Elliss, EDGE, Utah (6-2, 246 pounds)
Elliss has a high floor as a run-stopper because of his frame, but the Bills also should be intrigued by his pass-rush ceiling for their scheme.
61. Detroit Lions
-
Brandon Dorlus, EDGE, Oregon (6-3, 290 pounds)
Dorlus would give the Lions a well-rounded bookend to Aidan Hutchinson with the same kind of effort and sudden burst off the edge.
62. Baltimore Ravens
-
Jermaine Burton, WR, Alabama (6-0, 194 pounds)
The Ravens brought back Nelson Agholor, but Odell Beckham Jr. is a free agent and Rashod Bateman was used little in the new offense. With Zay Flowers providing a dynamic answer outside, they need to address the slot. Burton is ideal to help Todd Monken's inside passing game with his hands, speed, and quickness.
63. San Francisco 49ers
-
Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami (5-11, 202 pounds)
The 49ers need to replace 33-year-old free agent Tashaun Gipson next to returning Talanoa Hufanga. Although Ji'Ayir Brown might be that solution, they could also add depth and a boost in nickel coverage. Kinchens is very Jimmie Ward-like.
64. Kansas City Chiefs
- Javon Bullard, S, Georgia (5-11, 180 pounds)
The Chiefs could benefit from getting better overall at safety. Bullard is a smashing run supporter and good blitzer who presents plenty of coverage upside.
