Eight players and a coach are about to be forever enshrined in Canton. 

This week marks a pivotal moment for the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2023, as the newest members are set to be inducted into the Hall after receiving their prestigious gold jackets. 

Included in this Hall of Fame class is Cleveland's ironman lineman, a member of the New York Sack Exchange, "Revis Island" and a coach who implemented the air raid offense into the NFL.

When is the NFL's Hall of Fame ceremony for 2023?

The Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony for the Class of 2023 will begin at noon ET on Saturday, Aug. 5, where nine new members will enter the prestigious Hall.

The 2023 enshrinement ceremony for the Pro Football Hall of Fame will be broadcast on NFL Network and ESPN. Chris Berman will continue his longtime tradition of hosting the event.

Who is in the Hall of Fame Class of 2023?

As in 2021, the Hall of Fame will enshrine nine new members: seven players and one coach. 

The headliners of the group are former Jets and Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis, former Cowboys and Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware, former Brown offensive tackle Joe Thomas and former Buccaneers cornerback Ronde Barber.

In addition, former Dolphins and Cowboys linebacker Zach Thomas will be enshrined, as well former Bears and Cowboys linebacker Chuck Howley, former Jets and Colts defensive lineman Joe Klecko, and former Bengals cornerback Ken Riley. 

Don Coryell, the former San Diego Chargers coach and 1974 AP NFL Coach of the Year, will be enshrined as a coach.
