The NFL is starting a new season with a loaded Week 1 slate of matchups.
On Thursday, the Chiefs will launch what they hope is a third straight championship run with a battle against the Ravens. Then, on Friday, the Eagles and Packers will meet in Brazil for the first international contest of the year.
There will be the typical run of games on Sunday before the Rams face the Lions in a primetime clash. Jets vs. 49ers will close out the opening week of the season on Monday night.
