Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins’ stock may never be higher, and he’s expected to cash in on his remarkable 2018 season.
According to Pro Football Talk, which cited an unnamed league source, Haskins, who has two years of college eligibility remaining, is expected to declare himself eligible for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Haskins capped a superb 2018 season with a Rose Bowl victory over Washington on New Year’s Day in which he passed for 251 yards and three touchdowns. He finished his sophomore year with 4,831 yards passing, 50 touchdown passes and only eight interceptions. He finished third in voting for the Heisman Trophy.
Haskins, at 6-3 and 220 pounds, was given a first-round grade from the NFL’s draft advisory board and is widely anticipated to be the first QB taken after Justin Herbert’s decision to return to Oregon.
Teams in the top half of the draft that could look to go quarterback include the Raiders (No. 4), Buccaneers (No. 5), Giants (No. 6), Jaguars (No. 7), Broncos (No. 9), Bengals (No. 11), Dolphins (No. 13) and Redskins (No. 15).
