He didn't get to hear his name at the 2018 NFL Draft, but Dakoda Shepley has reportedly earned his opportunity anyway.
The Windsor, Ont., native has signed a deal with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent on Saturday, according to multiple reports.

While the Jets have yet to make it official, Shepley tweeted Saturday about joining the team.

A 6-foot-4, 305-pound lineman who starred for the University of British Columbia, Shepley worked out at Eastern Michigan University's pro day in March and impressed NFL and CFL scouts in attendance.
Shepley will get the chance to team up with Ajax, Ont., native Nathan Shepherd, who was selected by the Jets in Friday's third round.
