Despite enduring the worst game of his career Sunday night, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is itching to get back on the field Thursday.
“I’d play tomorrow if I could,” Prescott told reporters after a 37-9 loss to the Eagles.

The second-year quarterback set a career-worst with a 30.4 passer rating to go along with three interceptions and a lost fumble. The divisional loss marked the first game of Prescott’s 27 starts in which Dallas failed to score a touchdown.
“It’s a tough one,” he said. “Thankfully, we get to go right back at it Thursday. I’ll watch this a couple times and hopefully forget about it and move on.”
Prescott was without both a suspended Ezekiel Elliott and an injured Tyron Smith for a second consecutive game, but he said ”there are no excuses.”
“We’re not putting it together,” Prescott said. “We get the running game going and the passing game is not, we get the passing game going and the running game is not. Us as players, we’ve just got to find a way to get it done better on the field.”
Luckily for Prescott, his shot to rinse the taste of Sunday out of his mouth comes quickly as Dallas hosts the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. ET Thanksgiving Day.
