A 41-16 loss to the Patriots on Sunday was just what the Broncos needed to take a hard look at themselves to find a way to stop a five-game losing streak.

Coach Vance Joseph said after the game each position and coach will be reviewed from now until the end of the season.

“I’ll say this: When you lose like this, it’s on all of us,” Joseph said (via The Denver Post). “It’s a staff that we chose and that we feel great about. I wouldn’t say that; I would say it’s on all of us. We have to coach better and play better.”

Joseph’s remark applied to the quarterback position as he wouldn’t commit to Brock Osweiler as the starter Sunday against the Bengals.

Denver started the season 3-1, but poor quarterback play and an uncharacteristically bad defense has plagued the team as it’s fallen to 3-6.

"We f—g stink,'' defensive end Derek Wolfe said (via KUSA.com).

"I don't know, man, it's just sad. It's just real sad," Wolfe added (via ESPN.com). "It's sad we went from a championship-caliber team to a team that stinks and nobody respects us. …

“I don't know what the answer is. I’m at a loss. ... It's not easy to come to work when you're losing. ... It's not like no one is trying. We are playing hard. We are not giving up."
