Week 16 presents one of the last opportunities for teams to get into the playoff picture or improve their spot in the playoffs.

On Saturday, the Tennessee Titans look to remain in the hunt for the last wild-card spot in the AFC when they host the Washington Redskins. Washington's season started off promising, but the Redskins haven't recovered from Alex Smith's season-ending leg injury as they've lost four straight.

One of the several teams also in the hunt for that last spot is the Baltimore Ravens. They travel to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers on Saturday night. The Chargers are likely to make the playoffs as their record is strong enough to take the top AFC wild card spot if they can't win the division. The Ravens are also in the hunt to win the division as the slumping Pittsburgh Steelers have opened the door for them to win the AFC North for the first time since 2012.

The Sunday slate is packed with games that have playoff implications. The Dallas Cowboys look to put the finishing touches on winning the NFC East against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while the New England Patriots look to do the same in the AFC East as they host the Buffalo Bills. A win can also help with their playoff seeding as the Patriots try to get a first-round bye for the ninth straight season.

The Houston Texans travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles where they can not only move a step closer to making the playoffs, but can also knock the defending champs out.

The Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins all look to sneak into the playoffs as they each face teams who are out of the playoff equation.

Later that afternoon, the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to New Orleans to face the Saints. Pittsburgh has been in a slump so bad that it could knock itself out of the playoffs. A trip to New Orleans won't make it any easier on the Steelers. As for the Saints, they look to close out the season strong and take home-field advantage in the NFC.

On Sunday night, Patrick Mahomes looks to continue his stellar season as he and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Seattle Seahawks. Kansas City is trying to win the division for a third straight year and have the AFC playoffs run through Arrowhead Stadium. The Seahawks look to complete their in-season turnaround and get in the playoffs after a shaky start to the year.

Finally, the Raiders play what could be their final game in Oakland when they host the Denver Broncos on Christmas Eve. With the move to Las Vegas potentially coming in 2019, the Raiders can give Oakland a sweet Christmas gift as their goodbye to the city.

All times are Eastern.
