It's second versus third as the Tennessee Titans (5-4) pay a visit to the Indianapolis Colts (4-5) on Sunday afternoon.
The AFC South rivals clash as both teams boast winning streaks heading into Week 11. The host Colts are coming off three straight victories, the most recent of which was a 29-26 result against division doormat Jacksonville. They can expect a much tougher test against the Titans, who dominated Tom Brady and the New England Patriots last week by 24 points.
Both teams are looking up at division-leading Houston, as the Texans' six-game win streak tied for the second-longest active streak in the league. Yet the 6-3 Texans aren't out of reach for either Tennessee or Indianapolis, and a victory by either team in Week 11 could go a long way toward deciding the fate of the division.
Titans vs. Colts head-to-head stats
- The Titans have the recent edge in this match-up, winning the past two meetings between the teams. Both of those games took place last season.
- Prior to last season's results, the Colts claimed 11 straight victories over Tennessee.
- The Colts have won two straight in Indianapolis (three straight overall), and are looking for their first three-game home winning streak since Dec. 2014.
- On the flip side, a win would give the Titans their first road winning streak since Dec. 2016.
- Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has thrown at least three touchdown passes in each of his last six games, the fourth-longest streak in NFL history.
- The Titans' 16.8 points allowed per game is the best in the league. Tennessee is looking to stay under 17 points allowed per game for the first time since 2008.
- Darius Leonard leads the NFL with 96 combined tackles, giving the Colts' rookie linebacker seven more than any other player. He's looking to become the fourth Colts rookie with at least 100 combined tackles in a season.
