The meaning of tonight's "Monday Night Football" game is different for both teams. The Saints, who will host the Colts in a game scheduled to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN, are looking to improve their standing in the NFL playoff picture a couple weeks after clinching the NFC South. The No. 1 seed in the NFC is still an obtainable goal for New Orleans.
Indianapolis, meanwhile, is clinging to dear postseason life, and a loss in New Orleans on Monday night would eliminate the Colts from the playoff hunt in the AFC. Thanks two three straight losses heading into Week 15, Indy at this point is closer to a top-10 pick in the NFL Draft than a playoff spot.

For the Colts to pull off the upset over the Saints and temporarily save their season, they'll need to key on Michael Thomas. The New Orleans wide receiver leads the NFL with 121 receptions and 1,424 receiving yards this season; he had 11 receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown last week against San Francisco, marking his seventh game with at least 10 receptions in 2019.
With at least 10 receptions against Indianapolis, Thomas would surpass Andre Johnson (seven games in 2008) and Wes Welker (seven in 2009) for the most games with at least 10 receptions in a season in NFL history.
Below is all you need to know about Week 15's Monday night game between the Saints and Colts, including the kickoff time and TV channel.

In both our NFL Week 15 picks against the spread and our straight-up predictions, Sporting News projected a Saints win over the Colts on Monday night. Below are the explanations.
Pick against the spread: The Colts have had a tough season without Andrew Luck, but it has little to do with Andrew Luck not being there. The injuries have mounted on offense — to and around Jacoby Brissett — and the defense hasn't been immune to the run of bad health, either, leading to a sophomore slump for coach Frank Reich. The Colts will hang tough with their offensive and defensive fronts, however. The Saints are the much better and more complete team at the moment, but the Colts have made it a habit of playing one-possession games. Pick: Saints win 30-23 but fail to cover the spread.
Straight-up prediction: The Saints get an extra day this week to think about their heartbreaking loss to the 49ers. Good thing they'll be distracted by the kind of film study that should revive their confidence. While the Colts aren't far off from the Saints statistically, especially on defense, the records tell the tale of this tape. New Orleans, especially at home and still challenging for a top seed in the NFC playoffs, is by far the more trustworthy team. Pick: Saints 34, Colts 20.
