Mike Vrabel says Titans aren't looking to switch quarterbacks 'right now' image

The Titans have struggled offensively through the first three weeks of the season, and at the center of it all is quarterback Marcus Mariota.

The fifth-year starter now has two consecutive losses under his belt, including Thursday night's 20-7 loss to the Jaguars, which raises the question of whether or not Tennessee will make a change under center.

Coach Mike Vrabel addressed those concerns with the media Friday.

“It's not something we’re looking at right now, but that’s something we always consider every week," Vrabel said. "But not right now. [We're] trying to emphasize the really good throws, the really good production, we got some play pass production. But then again, there's some plays we'd like to have back.

Ryan Tannehill serves as the team's backup signal-caller.

However, for the second straight day, Vrabel has downplayed the chances of Tannehill moving into Mariota's spot.

Mariota is hitting his averages early in the season. He has completed 60.9% of his passes for 706 yards and four touchdowns.

The Titans (1-2) will face the Falcons in Week 4.
