Immediately hailed as one of the greatest plays in NFL history, Kenyan Drake scored a 69-yard touchdown on the final play of the game Dec. 9 to give the Dolphins a 34-33 victory over the Patriots.

Drake later regretted what he did after scoring, when he heaved the ball into the stands. He went on Twitter the next day with a message: "For the lucky fan in possession we can make a deal that’ll be worth your while."

Instead, the fan that ended up in possession of the ball has put it up for auction with Steiner Sports. The auction began Friday and runs through Jan. 19. Here's a link to the auction page.

What's a ball like that worth? According to the Palm Beach Post, the auction company expects it to fetch more than $20,000. If you think the fan who caught the ball is excited to rake in that kind of money for being in the right place at the right time, think again. According to a news report, that person immediately sold the ball to a fan sitting near him for $500.

And here's one more look at that incredible touchdown, including Drake's heave into the stands.
