USC quarterback Sam Darnold and UCLA QB Josh Rosen confirmed Wednesday they will enter the NFL Draft.
Rosen made his announcement to leave despite rumblings he would stay in school if the Browns secured the top pick. Cleveland clinched the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft on Christmas Eve. They secured the fourth overall pick on New Year's Eve.

Rosen was held out of a Cactus Bowl loss to Kansas State as he recovered from a concussion, his second game missed of the season. The 6-4, 215-pound QB still managed to throw for 3,717 yards and 26 touchdowns with 10 interceptions in 11 games. There is concern Rosen's personality may be an issue at the next level, but his pinpoint passing and high ceiling could make him the first QB drafted on April 26.
If the Browns don't select Rosen at No. 1 or 4, they could select fellow Southern California gunslinger Darnold, who made his announcement to turn pro on Instagram.
In 2016, Darnold delivered an impressive 31 touchdowns with only nine interceptions and led USC to a thrilling Rose Bowl win against Penn State. He finished 2017 with 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions as a redshirt sophomore but struggled in a loss to Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl Classic. Although he threw for 356 yards on 26-of-45 passing, he had three turnovers on an interception and two fumbles.
