Josh Rosen injury update: Cardinals QB says toe is ‘fine’ image

Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen’s ego may never recover from the beatdown he suffered Thursday night in a 45-10 loss to the Broncos, but his injured left toe should be all right.

“I’m fine. I was just being a little soft,” Rosen told reporters when asked about the play in the fourth quarter that left him grabbing for his foot.

Head coach Steve Wilks, however, isn’t as confident as his first-round pick and said Rosen will undergo further evaluation.

"He thinks he's fine, but I'm not going to sit here and say that that may be the case," Wilks said.

Rosen had a nightmare outing with three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns.

"It wasn't great," Rosen said. "I'll tell you that. I mean, we've got a lot to work on. A lot to work on. I mean, it's a team game and I know my brothers have my back. I obviously didn't play up to my standard or even close to it, but that's why you play another one next week."

Arizona (1-6) is home again next week to play the 49ers.
