The Bills lost starting quarterback Josh Allen late in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Texans with an elbow injury.

Buffalo announced that Allen was questionable to return and Nathan Peterman had replaced him under center. The Bills were trailing 10-6 to Houston when Allen left the game, but Peterman quickly threw a touchdown to Zay Jones to take the lead.
