The Jonathan Taylor saga continues. With the star running back voicing frustrations about the current RB market, Indianapolis has reportedly granted Taylor permission to seek a trade.

Just two seasons removed from leading the league in rushing yards, the 24-year-old entering the final year of his rookie contract could be on the move. The Colts are reportedly seeking a first-round pick (or picks equivalent to one) in exchange for Taylor. Will Indianapolis get first-round draft capital for Taylor? We'll see, but plenty of teams are willing to add the star back to their RB room while handing him a contract extension, as well.

As a result of the newest chapter to the Taylor saga, DraftKings Sportsbook released betting odds on Taylor's next team. Below, we'll highlight the current odds-on favorites to land Taylor (if he, in fact, gets traded), along with other potential landing spots that make for intriguing bets.

Favorites:

Dolphins (+250)

Although Miami has a formidable trio of running backs in Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson Jr., and De'Von Achane, the fact they expressed interest in adding Dalvin Cook this offseason pits Mike McDaniels' squad as the current odds-on favorites. We've seen Miami deal future draft capital in return for present-day studs Tyreek Hill and Bradley Chubb, so there's merit in the Dolphins' packaging picks to acquire a bona fide RB1.

A transition to McDaniel's wide-zone scheme could result in a bounce-back season for Taylor after the Wisconsin product ranked 40th among qualifying RBs in yards created per touch (2.42) and 37th in yards per touch (4.6). He likely wouldn't see 300-plus carries as he did in his breakout 2021 season, seemingly lowering his fantasy ceiling. However, joining an offense that ended 2022 ranking seventh in EPA/play (0.054) puts even more pressure on defenses.

Bears (+400)

General manager Ryan Poles has wheeled-and-dealed all off-season, so adding an All-Pro running back in Taylor gives the Bears a realistic chance to compete in a wide-open NFC North. Like Miami, Chicago's entering the season with three formidable backfield pieces (Khalil Herbert, D'Onta Foreman, and Roschon Johnson), but acquiring an explosive runner to pair alongside Justin Fields would add another dimension to its offense.

Chicago has enough cap space and draft capital to acquire Taylor and hand him a multi-year extension, so it's no surprise to see the Monsters of the Midway priced with the second-best odds to land the star RB. While the Bears' aerial attack likely takes a step forward with Fields in his second season running offensive coordinator Luke Getsy's scheme, the ground game's still a significant part of the offense.

Sleepers:

Cowboys (+750)

While Tony Pollard's earned his promotion as the team's featured back, how could Jerry Jones not at least test the waters on a Taylor trade? Yes, CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons' are due for contract extensions themselves, but Dallas currently has $21.5 million in cap space. Adding Taylor gives them a real chance to dethrone the Eagles as this season's NFC East champs.

Panthers (+2000)

Could Taylor rejoin his former head coach in Carolina? With a +2000 price tag, the Panthers make for a compelling long-shot play to pair Taylor with this season's No. 1 overall pick, Bryce Young. While packing picks to acquire Taylor after trading up to select Young complicates this deal, Carolina has the cap space to extend Taylor despite inking Miles Sanders to a four-year deal this offseason.
