The Indianapolis Colts' offense has been decimated by injuries in recent weeks. Anthony Richardson has missed the better part of the last two games, Michael Pittman Jr. was rumored to be an IR candidate just a few days ago, and breakout receiver Josh Downs has been dealing with a toe issue.
The injuries extend into the running back room where Jonathan Taylor has been working to come back from an ankle sprain. Taylor is no stranger to ankle injuries; this is the fourth time he's sprained his ankle since coming into the NFL.
Considering the injuries to the receiving corps, head coach Shane Steichen would certainly like to have his star running back in Week 6. What's the latest on Taylor's injury and can fans expect to see him on the field this Sunday?

Will Jonathan Taylor play this week? Injury update on Colts' RB
Taylor did not participate in any of the Colts' three practice sessions this week and has already been ruled out for Week 6 as a result.
Per Coach Steichen, RB Jonathan Taylor has been ruled out for #INDvsTEN.

Taylor's injury was originally considered to be a "mild" high-ankle sprain, so there's hope that he'll be able to return in Week 7. Next week's practice reports will be very telling in terms of his ability to suit up.
Colts' RB Depth Chart: Who is Who is Jonathan Taylor's Backup?
We already got a glimpse of the Colts' backfield without Taylor last week. It was a running back by committee approach with Trey Sermon leading the way. He saw 10 carries and six targets in Week 5 while playing 59 percent of the snaps.
The other member of this committee was Tyler Goodson. He was the only other running back to log a snap and saw half as many opportunities as Sermon. Expect a similar distribution of touches and snaps in Week 6.
