NFL trade rumors: Jets interested in dealing for Le'Veon Bell image

The Jets have emerged as a potential suitor for disgruntled Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell.

According to the New York Daily News, the Jets have reached out to Pittsburgh to see what it would take to acquire Bell via trade, but have not yet made an offer.

Bell, who has not yet signed his $14.5 million franchise tag tender, is set to miss his third game this season when the Steelers face the Buccaneers on Monday night.

The Steelers have been starting James Conner in Bell's place, and they have even removed Bell, who has racked up 5,336 rushing yards, 2,660 receiving yards and 42 career touchdowns in his first five seasons, from their official roster.

While the Jets don't have a second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, they do have two third-round picks after trading Teddy Bridgewater to the Saints. They could use the extra ammo to procure Bell.
