Patriots cornerback Johnson Bademosi tried, but laughably failed, to draw a flag on a bizarre incident during the Pats' game against the Jets Sunday.
After Jets quaterback Bryce Petty threw an incomplete pass to Robby Anderson, the Jets wide receiver fell out of bounds along the Patriots sideline. He then got up and spiked the football. Bademosi, standing on the sideline in a jacket, got hit under his chin.
After a brief delay that seemed somewhat, shall we say calculated, he fell to the ground.
Oh - Robby Anderson spikes the ball on the #Patriots sideline and it hits Bademosi right in the helmet. No penalty there... #Jets pic.twitter.com/jYsWRIPoDy

The flop looks even worse from another angle.

Bademosi's quick decision to flop, and sell it so well, would shame any NBA player flopping in an effort to draw a charge, or any soccer star tumbling to draw a yellow card. Despite Bademosi's effort, Anderson's spike drew no penalty.
The Patriots held a 24-3 after thee quarters, well on their way to obtaining homefield advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
