Greg Hardy, the former Pro Bowl defensive lineman, is getting another football opportunity after being virtually blacklisted by the NFL in 2015 following a messy domestic violence case.

Hardy’s MMA career is off to a 2-0 start with two first-round knockouts, and now he’s signed to play for the Richmond Roughriders of the American Arena League.

“It means another opportunity. It’s another chance for me to be a part of something that’s winning,” Hardy told TMZ. “I’m very appreciative for one, and two, I’m just ready to get back into something I love to do.”

Jim Jones, a hip-hop artist and part owner of the Roughriders, called Hardy a “beast.”

"He's not one of the regular players. He's one of the best in his craft,” Jones said.

Hardy, 29, has a scheduled MMA fight on Feb. 16, but assured TMZ he would be on the field for the Roughriders' season opener March 17.
