Garett Bolles injury update: Broncos LT carted off field after suffering gruesome lower-leg injury image

The Broncos' offensive line and running game got much weaker Thursday night. Deep in the fourth quarter of Denver's clash with Indianapolis, Bolles suffered what appeared to be a gruesome lower-leg injury.

Bolles went down after Broncos tackle Cameron Fleming fell on the leg. He crumbled to the ground in clear pain before being carted off, slamming the cart as it drove off.

The Broncos did not have an immediate update on Bolles' condition.

The former All-Pro second-team selection went viral last week after making an "acrobatic" dive on a fumble return touchdown by the Raiders' Amik Robertson.

Bolles made light of the play, and he even headed into Thursday's game with a shirt spotlighting the moment.

It appears he won't be back on the field for some time. Per NFL Network's James Palmer, Bolles was emotional as he was being taken for X-rays.

Per Mike Klis of 9News, Bolles reportedly suffered a broken leg and will miss at least six weeks with more time potentially on the table.

The Broncos lost running back Javonte Williams to a torn ACL and MCL last week. Bolles' injury is another major blow to the offense, especially given Russell Wilson's struggles through five weeks.
