Fantasy RB PPR Rankings Week 10: Who to start, sit at running back in fantasy football image

Injuries and bye weeks continue to make life challenging for fantasy football owners, especially when it comes to finding high-quality running backs. With each week taking on more importance at this stage of the season, making the right start 'em, sit 'em decisions has never been more crucial. Our Week 10 fantasy RB PPR rankings will help guide you to the right calls, leading you to the potential studs and shying you away from the expected duds.

With the Patriots, Bengals, Ravens, and Jets all on bye, those who own Rhamondre Stevenson, Joe Mixon, Gus Edwards, Kenyan Drake, and Michael Carter (among others) will be looking for players to fill some large-to-medium holes. The stud plays are obvious must-starts, with the Dolphins' Raheem Mostert (vs. Browns in Week 10) joining the usual suspects in the top 15. Jeff Wilson Jr. is also in play as a potential RB2/flex after he saw the same number of carries as Mostert last week, but with a top-five matchup and more big-play ability, we still give Mostert the edge.

Fantasy owners of David Montgomery, Khalil Herbert, D'Andre Swift, and Jamaal Williams (Bears vs. Lions) have plenty of reasons to be excited this weekend. The Bears and Lions rank fourth and fifth, respectively, in most PPR points allowed to RBs this season, and both offenses rely on their running games to move the chains. Even with Swift and Herbert playing limited snaps, they're in play.

WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott (@ Packers) are in a similar situation, though they have tougher matchups this week. Even if Zeke (knee) returns as expected, we still like Pollard better based on his 6.2-4.1 yards-per-carry advantage over Zeke and the fact that he's the No. 1 RB in fourth-quarter efficiency, averaging over seven yards per tote in the final frame of games. We have Pollard right up there with Miles Sanders (vs. Commanders) and the aforementioned two-headed monster of the Lions backfield this week.

WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

What can we make of Aaron Jones (vs. Cowboys) this week? He's an unbelievable PPR talent who ran over the Bills two weeks ago, but this past weekend he went down with an ankle injury. A tough matchup awaits if he's active, but if he's out, don't hesitate to use AJ Dillon, who should see 15-plus touches and has proven to be a capable receiver in the past.

WEEK 10 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em

A couple of fringe RB2 plays get significant boosts in PPR leagues. Devin Singletary (vs. Vikings) caught four-of-five targets last week, and James Conner (@ Rams) caught all five of his targets after finally returning from a three-week absence due to a rib injury. Najee Harris (vs. Saints) also gets a bump up after he caught all six of his targets last time out. He's merely a flex in a tough matchup, but it's nice to see that Pittsburgh might be realizing he's their best playmaker. Ditto for Antonio Gibson (@ Eagles), as Brian Robinson Jr. seems like a much better story than a PPR option.

WEEK 10 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel

We're leery of all the backs in the Broncos' (@ Titans), Rams' (vs. Cardinals), and Chiefs' (vs. Jaguars) committees. You could take a chance with Melvin Gordon, but until we see Denver and L.A. with Chase Edmonds and Kyren Williams (ankle), respectively, we'd stay away if possible. Similarly, Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire are always a threat to score in Kansas City's high-flying offense, but neither can be counted on for even 10 touches.

WEEK 10 DFS: Best stacks | Best values

Going a little deeper, Kareem Hunt (@ Dolphins) will get plenty of usage in what should be a high-scoring affair, and don't expect Cleveland to keep him on a leash now that he didn't get traded at the deadline. Chuba Hubbard (vs. Falcons), assuming he's back from his ankle injury, also has PPR upside. D'Onta Foreman should still start and merit an RB2/flex spot in your lineup, but Hubbard could play more than you think. That also goes for Elijah Mitchell (vs. Chargers), who's expected to return from his knee injury in this highly favorable matchup.

Note: We'll be updating these RB PPR rankings throughout the week, so check back for analysis and the latest player movement.
