Matt Bryant is apparently getting another shot with the Atlanta Falcons.
The 44-year-old kicker, who spent 10 years with the team before being released this offseason, will reportedly have a tryout with the Falcons Friday, according to CNN's Coy Wire, a former Atlanta teammate of Bryant.
The Falcons aren't happy with the two kickers they have in camp, Giorgio Tavecchio and Blair Walsh. Tavecchio, who was a perfect 5-of-5 in field goal attempts in three games last season with Atlanta while Bryant was out injured, has struggled in the preseason. He's 4-of-8 on field goal attempts.

Last weekend, the Falcons signed Walsh, who hasn't kicked in the NFL since he played for the Seahawks in 2017. He has likewise struggled, leading to speculation Bryant might get a chance for an encore.
The Falcons' all-time leading scorer with 1,122 points, Bryant is one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history, ranking eighth in career field goal percentage (86.222 percent). His return appears to have the blessing of Falcons team owner Arthur Blank.
"If you don’t have good memories of Matt Bryant, then there’s something wrong with you," Blank told ESPN Wednesday. "The guy has won a lot of games for us and, under intense pressure, has always performed very well.’’
Can Bryant still get the job done? The Falcons must think so, otherwise he wouldn't get a tryout. He still has range — he booted a 57-yarder a year ago — and he missed only one of his 21 attempts last season.
